Sayangnya, masih ada kelemahan di perbankan Indonesia dalam menghadapi persaingan bebas ini.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Gubernur Bank Indonesia (BI) Agus Martowardojo membeberkan kelemahan itu di hadapan para bankir senior, dalam Rapat Umum Anggota Ikatan Bankir Indonesia (IBI) 2015 dengan tema &#8216;Kesiapan Bankir Indonesia Menghadapi MEA 2015&#8217;.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;Singapura, Malaysia, dan Thailand sudah semua mereka lakukan konsolidasi bank. Kita belum. Itu jadi kelemahan kita,&#8221; kata Agus dalam pidato pembukaan rapat, di Plaza Bapindo, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jakarta Selatan, Kamis (21\/5\/2015).<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Menurut Agus, yang juga menjabat Ketua Badan Pengawas IBI, sebanyak 30% pangsa pasar perbankan ASEAN dikuasai 7 bank besar, dan sisanya dibagi rata. Saat ini volume aset dan kredit perbankan Indonesia masih di bawah tiga negara yang Agus sebutkan tadi.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;Pertumbuhan tinggi tidak cukup buat mengejar tiga bank negara tersebut,&#8221; ujar Agus.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Agus mengatakan, suku bunga Indonesia yang tinggi juga membuat bank-bank asing menjamur di Indonesia. Sebaliknya, bank lokal malah malas ekspansi ke luar negeri karena keuntungan dalam negeri sudah tinggi. Hal ini menurut Agus, menurunkan daya saing perbankan lokal terhadap bank-bank asing.\u00a0<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;Mereka fokus di Indonesia, karena marjinnya sangat tinggi. Buat apa ke negara lain kalau marjin di Indonesia lebih bagus. &#8221; ujar Agus.<\/span><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><br style=\"color: #000000;\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;Kita harus mulai pikirkan perluaskan jaringan ke negara ASEAN.
